Citizens Bank hosted its second annual People First Awards Banquet on Thursday, April 21, honoring six Citizens associates for their accomplishments and contributions in 2021. The honorees of the Outstanding Citizens Award included Aaron Herndon, Adillet Lindsey, Jasmine Hilliard, Maria Ryan, Nathan Harris and Trish Morrow.
The Outstanding Citizens Award is one of the highest forms of recognition received as an associate of Citizens Bank and is reserved for associates who made significant contributions to their departments in the prior year.
“The People First Awards are meant to honor these associates who consistently go above and beyond at Citizens Bank,” said Citizens CEO Adam Mitchell. “Each of these associates are truly exceptional and personify our mission of putting our customers, communities and associates first.”
A senior leader nominated each honoree and winners were determined by a selection committee consisting of executive management and board members.
“I am proud of the contributions of each of these honorees who exceed customers’ expectations and those of their colleagues and vendors,” said Jeff Teague, Chairman and CEO of Citizens Bancshares. “The board knows we are in good hands with associates like these serving Citizens Bank.”
