The Chick-fil-A located in North Little Rock’s McCain Mall closed on Saturday after 37 years of serving the location.
A note on the food court restaurant’s door offered no explanation, but simply read, “Permanently Closing. Saturday, 7/31/2021, will be our last day of service. Thank you McCain Mall for 37 great years!”
Just across the river, the Little Rock City Board approved through a voice vote Chick-fil-A’s usage of a city alley for a drive thru at its new location on Broadway.
The Chick-fil-A is poised to occupy the former McDonald’s at Seventh and Broadway in downtown Little Rock.
A traffic study will be commissioned, per the requirements of city planning, to determine construction feasibility.
