CHI St. Vincent has appointed a new director of performance excellence to oversee the health system’s performance improvement efforts.
CJ Richards has been named the director of performance excellence for CHI St. Vincent. In this role, he will be charged with training the health system’s employees on performance improvement. Richards will use CHI St. Vincent’s performance improvement resources to aid in the increase of improvement throughout the health system and ensure that all improvement is aligned with CHI St. Vincent’s institutional goals.
Most recently, Richards served as CHI St. Vincent’s senior quality improvement developer. He also served as Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s improvement project manager and was the lean management consultant at RSP Senior Living Communities in St. Louis, Mo.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Hendrix College as well as a Master’s of Business Administration (emphasis in strategic management and marketing) from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
