Ritter Communications will soon offer access to its fiber high-speed internet service, which is currently available to businesses in Brinkley, to local residents as well. The new service offer is part of a recent investment made to improve the area’s technology infrastructure. Brinkley city officials have secured $2.2 million through the Arkansas Rural Connect grant program to extend Ritter Communications new fiber optic network to local residential customers.
The Arkansas Rural Connect program, funded by the American Rescue Plan and existing state resources, awards grants to rural communities that help finance projects improving high-speed broadband internet access for more Arkansans. Additionally, the company has independently invested over half a million dollars to provide the Brinkley business community with advanced communications technology and business solutions.
“Ritter Communications is pleased to bring the latest fiber internet services to both business and residential customers in Brinkley,” said Ritter Communications CEO Alan Morse. “We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, high-speed and reliable broadband internet services to the rural communities of Arkansas. And we’re grateful Governor Hutchinson is committed to bridging the digital divide in Arkansas with ARC grant support. We are honored to have an opportunity to do our part.”
With its gigabit internet speeds, Brinkley residents will receive a new residential fiber service from Ritter Communications called RightFiber™, Ritter’s latest broadband solution that provides a full suite of services including internet, TV and phone. RightFiber™ construction is on pace to be completed and residential customers connected by mid-next year.
“We feel fortunate Brinkley was chosen as an ARC Broadband grant recipient. The $2.2 million grant will provide Brinkley residents access to a necessity in today’s world, fast and reliable broadband internet service,” said Brinkley Mayor Gary Henard.“We are confident Ritter Communications is delivering the most advanced telecommunications solutions to our community, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them as a new neighbor.”
