The Baptist Health Foundation’s 32nd annual Bolo Bash golf tournament is set to be held on Monday, Sept. 19, and Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the Chenal Country Club, with Simmons Bank as the presenting sponsor.
As central Arkansas’s largest charity golf event, the Bolo Bash’s scramble format tournament hosts an average of 400 golfers and features a lunch buffet, contests, prizes and a special gift for every participant.
Proceeds will benefit the Baptist Health Behavioral Health Services. Arkansas ranks among the lowest states in the nation for the number of beds available for psychiatric patients, and Baptist health hopes to address shortages in specialty providers and patient beds, as well as to expand behavioral health services throughout the state.
The golf tournament goes hand in hand with the Bolo Bash Reception and Luncheon events which will be held on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12, respectively. In the decades since its inception, Bolo Bash has raised over $14 million for the Baptist Health Foundation.
