Citizens Bank has announced the hiring of Bill Yee as senior vice president and city president of the bank’s Little Rock market. In his new role, Yee will lead the Little Rock team, build new relationships to drive growth in the market and ensure customer needs are met.
Vernon Scott, EVP and regional president at Citizens Bank said Yee’s expertise in commercial lending will be a valuable asset to the bank.
“Bill is a perfect fit for our bank, both in terms of culture and talent,” said Scott. “He is highly respected in the Little Rock community and the banking industry as a whole. Our customers and employees alike will enjoy working with him and will benefit from his expertise.”
With decades of experience, Yee’s career began as a commissioned senior bank examiner. He then entered commercial banking at Regions Bank, after which he transitioned to Delta Trust & Bank and most recently Simmons Bank.
“It is an honor to be joining a team of this caliber,” said Yee. “I have worked with many of the team members in the past, and all have excellent reputations for the job they have done at Citizens Bank. It is a true pleasure to have the opportunity to lead this team in continued success.”
