Valerie Biden Owens, President Joe Biden’s younger sister, will be visiting Little Rock on Tuesday, July 19, as part of the promotion of her memoir, Growing Up Biden.
The Rotary Club of Little Rock – club 99 – will welcome Owens as the guest speaker for its 12:00 p.m. meeting at the Clinton Center. The meeting will be hosted in conjunction with the Political Animals Club.
Sitting on the Advisory Board of the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children, Owens is the first woman in U.S. history to run a presidential campaign.
Her New York Times bestselling memoir brings readers into the Biden home, with stories from growing up in Delaware, as well as her decades-long professional career in politics.
Owens will be available after the meeting to sign copies of the memoir.
Attendees will be able to pre-order a copy at the Clinton Museum Store’s website. For more information about the Rotary Club of Little Rock, click here.
