The U.S. Census Bureau reported yesterday (May 21) that Bentonville is the fifth fastest-growing city with over 50,000 residents in the United States.
With a population increase of 7.4 percent, Bentonville grew to 54,909 residents from July 1, 2018, to July 1, 2019.
This population increase indicates that Bentonville added at least 10 people per day on average to its community between 2018-2019.
Similarly to Bentonville and Fayetteville, smaller Northwest Arkansas towns reported a significant increase in population from July 1, 2018, to July 1, 2019. Elkins, Tontitown, Prairie Grove and Cave Springs all exceeded a 6.3 percent growth rate.
