Micah Beard has been named regional president for Citizens Bank’s North Central Arkansas market. This role transition is effective immediately.
As the regional president, Beard will oversee the bank’s North Central Arkansas market. He will serve as the primary point of contact for local decisions.
The Monticello native has held roles with Citizens Bank since 2008 and has more than 25 years of banking experience. He has served in multiple roles with Citizens Bank, including senior commercial loan officer and as the manager for the bank’s Batesville loan department.
“Micah is the right person to lead our talented team of associates in the North Central Region,” Citizens Bank president and CEO Adam Mitchell said in a statement. “Through his leadership, Citizens Bank was one of the first banks in the region to originate PPP loans for our customers, demonstrating his true commitment to community banking.”
Beard obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello and received degrees from the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania.
