In a move to consolidate their employee base in Central Arkansas, Bank of America announced Friday that its Central Arkansas office will be moved to Cypress Plaza at 2200 N. Rodney Parham Road in Little Rock, leaving its current location at 200 W. Capitol Avenue, which the financial institution has been renting. The new location will house employees from Bank of America’s Banking, Commercial Banking and Private Bank divisions alongside employees from Merrill Lynch, a subsidiary of BoA focused on investment and wealth management.
“Bank of America has consolidated many of its teams around the world, bringing employees closer together to facilitate conversation, collaboration and social activity across all areas of the bank while managing our real estate portfolio effectively and efficiently,” said Heather Albright, BoA market president of Arkansas. “This is part of our commitment to make Bank of America a great place to work – by supporting our teammates as they help deliver responsible growth for our businesses and the communities we serve.
“We have served clients and communities across Arkansas for more than 130 years and we will continue to do so, building on the more than $4 million in grants we have funded in the past five years to organizations that include nonprofits and the arts to advance the state’s economic mobility,” Albright added.
