Nate Coulter
Nate Coulter is executive director of the Central Arkansas Library System, a public corporation created by inter-local agreement among Pulaski and Perry counties, and Jacksonville, Maumelle, Perryville, Sherwood and Little Rock. He oversees the operation, budget, fundraising and programming for CALS, which has 14 libraries, an annual operating budget of approximately $17.5 million and more than 300 employees who offer services to a population of 350,000. Coulter serves on the Downtown Little Rock Partnership Board and is a member of the Downtown Little Rock Rotary Club. For more than 25 years, he maintained a trial legal practice in Arkansas and was a partner with the firms Wright, Lindsey & Jennings and Wilson, Engstrom, Corum & Coulter.
