The law firm of Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. has welcomed attorneys Audra Hamilton and John P. (Jack) Talbot to the firm in its Little Rock office.
Established in 1954, Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C. is a full-service corporate law firm with offices in Little Rock, Rogers and Jonesboro, Arkansas and Austin, Texas.
Audra Hamilton has more than 20 years of experience representing employers in all phases of litigation, arbitration and administrative conflicts in the energy, health care, construction, public utility and service industries. In addition to her private practice experience, Hamilton has been the in-house employment counsel and executive in charge of human resources for a publicly traded energy company. She has been a frequent speaker and author on employment-law related matters, including a practice guide to employers on the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Hamilton earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Hendrix College, graduating magna cum laude. She is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.
Jack Talbot has extensive experience as a trial lawyer with a focus on business law, agriculture and real estate. Talbot assists agribusinesses, agricultural lenders and other commercial clients with litigation in matters of bankruptcy, foreclosure, landlord/tenant issues, title, boundary and easement disputes, breach of contract and open account disputes, collections and business torts. He also represents individuals, families and fiduciaries in disputes involving wills, trusts and gifts and the administration of trusts and estates.
Talbot earned a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Westminster College. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association where he is involved in the real estate section and the agricultural law section. He is also a Fellow of the Arkansas Bar Foundation. In addition, Talbot is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association and the Arkansas Self Insured Association. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Pine Bluff Downtown Development and is a member of Fifty for the Future of Pine Bluff. Talbot is also a member and past president of Pine Bluff Rotary Club and a Paul Harris Fellow.
