Armor Bank is expanding into the Hot Springs market.
The Forrest City-headquartered bank has named David Trice as the president for its Hot Springs market. Armor Bank will set up a loan production office in Hot Springs at 3948 Central, Suite D.
“As we look to break ground this spring, I know David will provide exceptional leadership in overseeing our commitment to Hot Springs,” Armor Bank CEO Chad May said in a statement. “We’re proud to be in this market and we look forward to investing in this economy at a very localized level.”
According to his LinkedIn profile, Trice most recently served as a commercial banking manager for Regions Bank. He has held multiple roles at Regions Bank, stretching back to 2003.
“I’ve witnessed the culture at Armor Bank,” Trice said. “A customer-centric approach is important, and I think there’s a lot of opportunity for that to be well-received here. I’m excited to go to work with a team that can provide a focused, specialized client experience the people and small businesses of Hot Springs deserve.”
Armor Bank will also be building a Hot Springs branch location. The branch is expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2021.
In recent years, Armor Bank has been steadily expanding out of its eastern Arkansas base. It opened its first Little Rock branch in 2019 and expanded into the Jonesboro market that same year. Armor Bank also acquired Tyronza Banchsares Inc., the parent company of First Delta Bank in July 2019.
More recently, Armor Bank moved into the Marianna market after its acquisition of Farmers and Merchant Bank’s local branch.
Currently, Armor Bank has locations in Forrest City, Jonesboro, Little Rock, Marketed Tree, Trumann and Tyronza.
