Arkansas Urology has launched a special Valentine’s Day fundraiser playing off of the nostalgia of candy grams. The “adult-humored campaign provides a range of gift options with witty cards to lighten the mood” while raising awareness for men’s health.
“Most things pertaining to urology involve serious issues, but who says we can’t promote it through humor?” said E. Scot Davis, CEO of Arkansas Urology. “Valentine’s Day is a special time to celebrate your loved ones, so we encourage our friends and patients to consider giving back to a great cause with a little laughter along the way.”
Individuals can choose from a variety of gift options (limited by geography), such as a coffee mug and chocolates combination, flower deliveries or a personalized video or in-person Valentine’s Day wish from longtime AU Foundation partner and co-host of the “Morning Mayhem” show on Central Arkansas radio station The Buzz, Roger Scott.
“Whether it’s your significant other, a co-worker, family member, or even a Prostate Cancer survivor, we hope men and women across the state will honor their loved ones this holiday season while also benefiting a great cause,” said Chris Shenep, director of Foundation and Marketing for Arkansas Urology.
Each gift will come with a quirky card with Valentine’s wishes, such as “You get me more excited than an overactive bladder,” or “I’m obsessed with you in a non-creepy way (I swear).” Cards can be purchased individually and sent electronically as well.
All proceeds from the campaign will be donated to the Arkansas Urology Foundation. The Foundation will also be accepting general donations, as well.
All items will be available on a first come, first serve basis through Feb. 14 at noon. The Arkansas Urology Foundation would like to thank its partners in this inaugural campaign, KABZ 103.7 The Buzz, The Bridal Cottage, Hogman’s Gameday Superstore and Emmylou’s Flower Bar.
