Arkansas Urology has announced the opening of its Kidney Stone Center in Central Arkansas at 1300 Centerview Drive in Little Rock. The new center will allow Arkansas Urology to see same day kidney stone patients to relieve their symptoms quickly and efficiently in an outpatient setting.
“This new center will enable symptomatic patients to be seen quickly, but also to be given care by a urologist specializing in kidney stone treatment, rather than a general doctor at the emergency room,” said Dr. Kevin Claybrook, president of Arkansas Urology. “Kidney stones are very painful. Our goal with the center is to effectively treat short-term concerns and prevent long-term issues for a healthier community overall.”
The new center will also provide support for strained hospital staff by offering an alternative to hospital visits. Individuals do not have to be an existing Arkansas Urology patient to utilize the center.
“As somebody who has had to deal with kidney stones during my life, I know firsthand that there is nothing worse than having these painful and nagging symptoms and not knowing what to do,” said E. Scot Davis, CEO of Arkansas Urology. “We’re excited to have a dedicated center in Central Arkansas for patients to access quality kidney stone treatment quickly, along with a phone line that enables them to address concerns from the comfort of their home. This is just yet another example of how innovative or physicians and providers want to be when it comes to cutting edge care.”
Arkansas Urology’s Kidney Stone Center is now open at 1300 Centerview Drive in Little Rock. Center hours are 7:30am- 3:30pm. Patients can visit ArkansasUrology.com or call 1-844-NOSTONE to speak to someone at Arkansas Urology about symptom relief and setting up an appointment.
