Arkansas PBS will be providing live, exclusive statewide primary election coverage Tuesday, May 24, beginning at 7 p.m. with “Election 2022: Primary Coverage.” A team of analysts and political insiders will join host Steve Barnes in covering the key legislative and judicial races as the votes are counted and the parties select their nominees for November.
The election for the next governor of Arkansas will take place on November 8, 2022. The primary is scheduled for May 24, and a primary runoff is scheduled for June 21. The filing deadline was March 1, 2022.
In addition to real-time voting results and in-depth analysis, field reporters will be on site at Republican and Democrat watch parties to provide live look-ins and interviews with candidates and advocates as the 2022 Arkansas political and judicial landscape takes shape.
