Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions will be hosting a free, two-part seminar on exports on Wednesday, Feb. 17.
This four-hour seminar, held in partnership with the Arkansas District Export Council, will focus on the basics of exporting. The seminar will cater to small and midsized businesses promoting products abroad or expanding to international markets.
Starting at 9:30 a.m., the first session will last until 11:30 a.m. The first session will feature LH Global Solutions president Lenka Horakova, who will discuss “Getting Ready to Export,” followed by presentations from Power Technology owner William Burgess discussing “Developing Customer Relationships.” Arkansas Economic Development Commission manager of client services Rudy Ortiz will present on “Building a Global Infrastructure,” and U.S. Commercial Service director James Aardappel will discuss “USEAC Export Assistance.”
In the second session, which will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., participants will learn about managing payments and finance, regulations and legal issues, and international logistics.
