Six individuals are set to be inducted into the Arkansas Insurance Hall of Fame.
The Insurance Hall of Fame is meant to recognize insurance professional “who exemplify innovation, social responsibility, leadership and professional excellence,” according to the organization’s website.
The 2019 hall of fame class includes James Howard Atkins, of Herrington, Inc.; Matthew Cashion, of Cashion Company, Inc.; Daryl Coker, of Spradley & Coker; Gail James, of Bituminous Insurance Companies; Ron Lensing, of BancorpSouth; and Jim Spradley, of Spradley & Coker.
“Each of our honorees has left an indelible mark on the insurance industry in Arkansas, and is more than deserving of induction to the Arkansas Insurance Hall of Fame,” said Cynthia Burleson, director of the Center for Insurance and Risk Management in the University of Central Arkansas College of Business.
The inductees will be recognized during the 2019 Arkansas Insurance Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m., at the UCA Health, Physical Education and Creation (HPER) Center. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.
