Bill Conine
An interim president and chief executive officer for Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corporation and Arkansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. has been named this week.
Bill Conine, currently CEO of Petit Jean Electric Cooperative, will serve as the interim president and CEO for the state organization. Conine replaces Duane Highley in the position.
According to an AECC press release, the board of directors is engaged in a nationwide search for the incoming president and CEO.
Former CEO Duane Highley recently accepted the position of CEO at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Cooperative in Colorado. Highley is set to assume his role at Tri-State on April 5, 2019.
