The city of North Little Rock and First Orion Company today announced that the Little Rock-based technology company will relocate its international headquarters from the River Market to a new building anchoring the forthcoming Argenta Plaza. The announcement was made at a press conference on the site of the proposed building.
First Orion provides technology relative to telecommunications, including products that help businesses comply with regulations associated with sales calls. It’s also produced a variety of consumer apps to help block unwanted calls on wireless devices.
The company is headed by Charles Morgan, chairman and CEO and Jeff Stalnaker, president and co-founder, both of whom are Acxiom alums. Morgan was CEO of the Little Rock tech giant for 30 years and Stalnaker was its CFO and later president of its Financial Services Division.
Preliminary indications are the company will build a six-story headquarters on the Argenta neighborhood site, encompassing more than 60,000 square feet, providing space for nearly 200 employees. More than that, it will provide the anchor tenant for the ambitious Argenta Plaza, a multi-use space featuring entertainment facilities, dining, fountains and upscale apartment living that is the lynchpin for neighborhood redevelopment.
