The Architecture and Design Network (ADN) is continuing its 2018-19 June Freeman lecture series in November.
On Tuesday, Nov. 13, ADN is hosting a panel presentation entitled “New Perspectives in Architecture Education,” featuring three new assistant professors of architecture at the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design. The three speakers are Emily Baker, AIA; Jessica Colangelo; and Brian Holland.
Emily Baker is an architect and educator whose full-scale constructed experimentation informs her creative work and teaching. Experience on job sites in architectural practice catalyzed her search for novel structural and construction systems, and her work, employing both digital and analog design and fabrication techniques, seeks to discover new aesthetic territory embedded in the way architecture is conceived and constructed. She holds degrees in architecture from the University of Arkansas and Cranbrook Academy of Art.
Jessica Colangelo is co-founder of the architecture practice Somewhere Studio. Jessica received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University where she was awarded the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize and a Bachelor of Architecture from Rice University where she received the AIA School Medal.

He received his M.Arch from the University of Pennsylvania and his B.Arch from Cal Poly Pomona.
