It never hurts to have some money on hand when you’re starting a business.
Arkansas entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to get some cold, hard cash in an upcoming pitch contest. As part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Conductor, the Venture Center, Innovate Arkansas and the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) are hosting the 2020 GEW Pitch: Central Arkansas edition.
This pitch contest will feature nine Central Arkansas entrepreneurs facing off for more than $18,000 in prize money.
During the virtual contest, the nine pre-selected entrepreneurs will be divided into three categories. In total, they will be competing for $18,500. The contest is open to small businesses that make between $0 and $100,000 in annual recurring revenue.
Applications will be accepted until November 4. The event will be held on Nov. 17 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
