The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association along with its educational affiliate, The Arkansas Advanced Energy Foundation, has announced the new Communications and Operations Manager as Cate Wilson.
With ten years of experience in the advertising and marketing space, Wilson has most recently worked at Heifer International with media strategy, implementing paid advertising efforts and monitoring the results and reporting those efforts, closely working between teams, streamlining processes and communications.
“Arkansas is in such a unique position with so much growth potential in advanced energy – and it’s an honor to work with this organization to help further those goals,” Wilson said. “I am so excited to be working with AAEA and AAEF.”
In her new role, Wilson will primarily support Lauren Waldrip, the Executive Director, to communicate association and foundation initiatives and updates to the membership, potential members and the general public.
“As our industry and membership continues to grow, Cate will give our organization additional capacity to best serve and add value to our members,” Waldrip said. “Cate’s extensive background and experiences make her a perfect fit for the advanced energy team.”
