Four Central Arkansas organizations are expanding into new office space in Northwest Arkansas. The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas, Hendrix College, Ozark Mission Project and Camp Aldersgate will host an open house celebration on Tuesday, April 26, at The Village on the Creeks in Rogers, where the offices will be located. Leaders from the organizations will be present, and hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served to attendees.
Since August, the four organizations have been facilitating the move from a temporary space in Northwest Arkansas to the permanent space at the premier lakeside office park.
In 2021, The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas invited Hendrix College, Ozark Mission Project and Camp Aldersgate, Inc. to join in a strategic move. The desire to be in the Northwest region was influenced by its growing population and the future plans for each organization.
The Methodist Foundation for Arkansas hopes the Northwest Arkansas office will allow more access to the Foundation for churches in the region. Hendrix College will use the space as an Office of Admissions to help with recruitment. Ozark Mission Project has expanded missions in the Northwest Arkansas area over the past decade, so establishing a permanent office in the area made sense according to Jules Anderson, OMP’s volunteer and programs coordinator.
“We are excited for the growth OMP has seen in Northwest Arkansas and are hopeful for the future impact this organization will have in its community,” said Anderson. “Building stronger connections here means a greater impact for our community and neighbors in this area.”
Camp Aldersgate has been a staple in the Central Arkansas area and serves campers from all over the state including the Northwest region. The camp plans to continue to expand its impact with the opening of the NWA office.
To RSVP for the open house event, email aanderson@methodistfoundationAR.org or call 479-957-3089 by April 21.
